I am going to be "blogging" my opinion on football, and this is going to vary from the premiership to when I used to play for under 16's on Sunday's. I just want to have a place to share my opinions, rant when something in the world of football happens that I don't like, discuss football with people.
I want to start off by letting you know a bit about myself, I am 20 years old, I play for my local Saturday team as a centre half, I am a supporter of Manchester United, I will always try to stay as neutral as possible when it comes to writing about them but hey, they are my team after all, and I love talking football, with anyone and everyone.
Along with supporting Man Utd I also have my favourite teams, such as Bournemouth, after recently seeing there free flowing attacking football in the championship, Bayern Munich for there dominance whilst still having youth players in starting eleven, Swansea as they have had great success without spending a great deal of money and they always go out to win against big teams where as other teams go out not to lose.
When I was at school I was a part of the football team, something I am very proud of to this day and will continue to be until the day I die, for several reason:
1) We won the school district league 5 years running which had never been done before
2) We were the most successful team the school had ever had and it will be extremely difficult for any future teams to come close to matching us.
3) We made 2 county finals losing one narrowly and winning the other comfortably
4) In out final school year we made the last 4 teams in the English Cup, painfully losing on penalty's in the semi final
5) The entire teams stayed together for 5 years and everyone got on well
6) Most of the team went on to play together as sixth form level, bar from a few who left.
7) We were invited to attend the Dallas Cup in America which is the biggest youth tournament in the world(I am sure I will write about this more in the future)
8) Without sounding too cheesy, they were my best mates
So yeah, that's a bit about me, I don't know how often I will blog I guess just as and when I feel like something is worth talking or venting about. So until then, the full time whistle has gone!
